TRANSPORTATION FACILITY
SRI RAMANUJA VIDYA MANDIR guides parents and students by referring them to service providers that ply throughout the city and the adjoining areas. Sri Ramanuja puts all necessary efforts to ensure the safety and security of the students as of outmost priority. Thus, we direct parents to implement the following to assist and support the students during their travel time.
Transportation Procedures & Guidelines:
- All the parents/ guardians who have availed the transport facility for their ward are requested to reach the allocated bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus.
- Please note that the drivers have been instructed not to wait for more than 2 minutes at any bus stop.
- Pickup and/or drop off the child from/ to the allocated bus stop only.
- Board your child into the vehicle yourself as it will not be possible for the drivers or attendants to board the child/children into the vehicles.
- Be calm and patient in case of delays.
- All the drivers will be instructed to pick up and drop off the children on time, but under exceptional circumstances or due to some unavoidable reasons, the transport vehicle could get delayed by 10-15 minutes.
- If the transport is delayed by more than 15 minutes, the parents/ guardians may contact the college authorities by calling the reception desk.
- In case of relocation/ address change, please inform the Transport Department in advance so that they can weave out the bus route accordingly.
- Parents can intimate the same at the reception desk. However, a duly signed written application has to be submitted to the transport department for the final approval.
- Not to call the bus driver for any type of change in the bus route/ queries.
- Kindly pick/ drop the child from the decided stop.
- Abide the bus identity proof and transportation procedures & guidelines.
